I looked at our dining room table this morning and had to take a picture capturing so many of my favorite things.

A Few of My Favorite Things


My mandolin, sketch book, pens and colored pencils, coffee, laptop (with twitter running, following some of my favorite people), rocks from beaches in the Northeast, Utne magazine in the background, and a turkey for Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday. During a photography class in college, I had the assignment to take a self-portrait. This pic would work.
