Inspired by Keith Walsh’s terrific 2010 project, A Year of Tees: 365 Days / 365 Tees, I’ve decided to try to come up with a button a day. Several years ago, I decided I was tired of hearing myself say, “I wish I had that on a button” and so bought myself a button-making machine. Since then, I’ve sold original, one-of-a-kind buttons at art fairs, made them for various library events, designed “merit badge” buttons, and just simply enjoyed putting those quips I always wanted on a button… well… on a button. I doubt I’ll match Keith’s ingenuity, but it’s a good level to strive for.
